To the right is a Norwegian-Russian Scotts Pine (Pinus sylvestris) - a species of trees that has been here since the last ice age about 10.000 years ago.

What is this!? (Delicious!)

Traditional North-Norwegian summer-meal fresh pollock (saithe)

Delicious traditional North-Norwegian summer-meal fresh pollock (saithe) - It tastes heavenly! Extremely rich in proteins, healthy brown fat and minerals! This particular meal was just a few hours from the fjord to the dinner table! Fresh as it gets ;o)

...and delicately prepared pollock liver - and NO! It's got nothing to do with horrid cod liver oil...!
