And some great photos to accompany the story. Norway has a rich history and grand traditions concerning fishing and sea travel. And i can’t but think that a fishing vessel like Havleik has a suitable size when it comes the amount of cargo it can contain, and it’s impact on fish stock and ocean enviroment. It’s truly a great contrast to todays super trawlers and the unethical way they impact the oceans. …I guess somethings was just better in the good old days.

The sand dunes of Skagen were fantastic! An ever changing landscape, not just in geological terms, but in human terms. The sand shifts rapidly and the landscapes changes – sometimes within just a few years. These “sandsculptures” were quite normal in the winter when frozen water and sand was sculpted by the wind and blowing sand.
